Practicing Joy is my very own passion project with a unique approach to living a happy life regardless of the pain and difficult challenges that life presents us. I invite you to join me on this journey.
Choosing Joy sounds simple. But in times of trial or when going through tragedy, traumatic events can leave us stuck with feelings of suffering and despair. It has been my experience that finding Joy and living life happy even in the worst moments of my life, has become a necessity to move forward with pain and grief. Knowing Joy doesn't always come naturally for everyone. I have found Practicing Joy has been much more meaningful and can be used as a powerful technique in moving forward even on the sad days and not getting stuck in the "yuck" - of grief.
This approach comes with some planning, a little bit of organizing and a lot of intentionality and focus. The benefits that come from the daily Practice of Joy; being more present, increase of clarity and focus, and being more mindful in life's experiences. Being aware of the magical moments that are happening all around you, noticing, meaningful moments and special connection.
Friends, I am no stranger to loss. I too have experienced the unthinkable. When overwhelming sadness and unspeakable grief started to consume my life, I knew I had to find a way to come back and be present in my life.
I wrote Practicing Joy in one of the darkest seasons of my life. For me, that is why this practice has become so important. And I want to share it with YOU! It has become a way of life for me and my family. Joy is essential to our survival. Without it, would be like not breathing. And if you're not taking in air, you're left suffocating. Joy is the light that lifts us up out of the darkness and helps us find life again. Having Joy and happiness in our lives gives us strength. Joy = is actually our Superpower!
I want Joy for everyone!
Practicing Joy requires a discovery of self. Commitment. Experimentation. Exploration. Present Moment Awareness. Appreciative Inquiry. Positivity Resonance. These tools and techniques are life changing, especially if you've been lost for a while. It's a fun and creative process that includes planning purposeful activities and then actually practicing them on a daily basis. AND SO MUCH MORE!
I hope you'll join me for, together as we explore new ways to:
Practice Joy EVERYDAY!
